During the summer months, between April 1 and September 30, dogs are not allowed on the four main beaches: Grande Plage, Tanchet, Paracou and Bassin Dombret. However, your dog can enjoy the beaches all year round in the restricted areas of Sauveterre and Les Granges, where it is permitted in all seasons, provided it is kept on a leash.
Outside the prohibited period, you can also take your dog to other beaches, but it’s important to respect local rules and keep him under control at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of all beach users.
